To have dentures made and fitted, you will have to have an initial assessment with your dentist.
The process involves a few visits to the practice where your dentist will take measurements and impressions of your mouth over a series of appointments.
We offer a full range of denture services here at Safe Dental: partial dentures, full dentures, telescopic dentures, implant over dentures, full acrylic dentures, dentures reinforced with a metal frame and other denture services including tooth additions.
We often give a range of choices for you to choose from and you may select any price range or specification. You are free to take the advice home to discuss your options with family and friends if you wish.
You can come back to us for further consultation if you have any additional questions, require a payment plan or anything else.
When you attend your initial consultation, it is helpful if you bring along anything that can assist us in making you a new denture.

We will analyse them all which will enable us to get a better understanding of your requirements.

Dentures are removable false teeth that are made from either acrylic (a type of plastic), or metal and acrylic combined. They are made to fit comfortably over the gums to replace any teeth that are missing and resolve potential problems that could be caused by gaps such as trouble eating and difficulty with speech.
Complete dentures refer to a custom full set which replaces all your upper teeth, lower teeth or both. We can look at options and see which type of full denture will suit you best.
Partial dentures just replace a small number of missing teeth. The denture will be removable but discreet and may have clasps that help hold them in place.
We can help you with adding additional teeth on dentures or clasps adding on your partial dentures. If you require another type of denture service book in for a consultation and our team will give the options and advice you need.

Complete Dentures will need to be fitted if all your upper or lower teeth have to be removed or if you’re having your old denture replaced.
Dentures can be fitted straight after your teeth have been removed. They are made to fit snugly over your gums to ensure they are comfortable to wear.
Over time dentures may have to be relined or remade due to the shape changes of your teeth and gums.
A partial denture is made to fill in the gaps left by one or more missing teeth. It is a plastic or metal plate with a number of false teeth attached to it. It usually clips onto some of your natural teeth via metal clasps, which hold it in place in your mouth.
